Position Overview:

·         The Director, Parts Trading leads a team to significant growth in Airframe Parts Trading.  The leader is responsible for profit and loss and the planning, development and implementation of the Parts Trading business. 

Job Duties
The position develops and manages the Spares and Parts System – customer call center, customer relations, new product and service offerings, etc.  The position will proactively broaden the scope and network for used and new parts sales for both internal operations and externally for growth; develops and offers spare part kits; and actively reviews pricing policy to keep StandardAero at the forefront of parts trading market.

Qualifications

·         At least 15 years of aerospace experience dealing directly with general aviation operators, service centers, suppliers, and spare parts traders.

·         Experience in entrepreneurial start up of teams/organizations or significant initiatives.

·         BA or BS degree; MBA preferred

·         At least 5 years of sales leadership experience.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office products, experience with AS400 systems and Oracle systems preferred.

·         Strong communication and organizational leadership skills
