Mobile Service Teams Bring Fast, Experienced Service
Missed flights cost aircraft owners, operators and passengers time and money. When an aircraft is on ground (AOG), operators need fast response from qualified, experienced mobile service teams who are highly skilled in troubleshooting.
To reach more customers faster, StandardAero is expanding its customer support network by adding three additional, Mobile Service Teams (MST). These new teams, established to provide immediate response times to customers in emergency situations, will be based in Little Rock, Ark., Van Nuys, Calif., and San Jose, Calif.
“These strategically-located mobile service teams have been designed to provide customers with greater flexibility, while reducing costs and downtime,” said Joe Brady, director, Mobile Services Team.
The teams also reduce travel time for more than 1,000 business aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) customers, performing services right on site.
“If operators need scheduled or unscheduled maintenance at home or away, there is no need to incur the added costs of moving their aircraft; we’re equipped to troubleshoot both engines and airframes, from minor discrepancies to complete engine removal and replacement on a wide variety of aircraft platforms. And, we can dispatch our MST to support customers around the globe,” continued Brady.
To support the expected demand increase, StandardAero has added three regional lead crew chiefs, in addition to a centralized Mobile Services Command Center, operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.
The Mobile Service Teams provide complete support for TFE731, CFE738 and HTF7000 engines, as well as Honeywell APUs and airframe maintenance on Falcon, Challenger, Hawker, Embraer, Learjet, Gulfstream and Cessna.
