Winglets for Hawker 800-series Save Fuel, Increase Range
For Hawker 800-series operators looking to optimize their operational budget, blended winglets by Seattle-based Aviation Partners International (API) offer significant savings and an immediate performance boost. An eco-friendly choice, they also help reduce your carbon footprint.
The FAA- and EASA-approved winglets decrease fuel burn and emissions by seven percent, stretch the aircraft’s range by 180 nautical miles, and add 15 knots to the speed. Plus, the winglets improve hot and high capabilities by allowing operators to depart with up to 1,500 pounds more weight.
“The winglets are one of the best investments you can make. In addition to the immediate fuel savings and performance improvements, you’ll likely see a healthy return on investment at resale,” said Victor Linderman, StandardAero’s Springfield (SPI) airframe manager.
Demand is high, according to API. The winglets are flying on more than 110 Hawker 800, 800A, 800B and 800XP aircraft.
SPI is now an API Blended Winglet installation partner and fully equipped with all the required tooling. For more information about API Blended Winglets for Hawker 800 series aircraft, call SPI at 800.731.7371.
