Technical Publications

The StandardAero Technical Publications Department was established in 1985 to support Canadian Forces Technical Documentation production requirements. Over the years, we’ve grown and embraced new technologies but our primary focus is still providing Technical Documentation management and production services for aerospace and defense industries worldwide. Our capabilities include:

Project Management – We track and manage procedures, workflow, reporting and performance on projects relating to the authoring, revision and conversion of technical documents.

Authoring/Illustrating – Our staff of writers and illustrators has a wealth of experience in preparing and presenting technical systems, component description and maintenance instructions, overhaul instructions and illustrated parts lists.

Editing – Our editors are highly skilled at interpreting and administering both Military and Air Transport Association (ATA 100/2200) specifications.

Translation – Our language translation services include English, French, Spanish, German and Russian. When it comes to technical accuracy and precise terminology, our experts will meet or exceed your requirements.

E-Documents – Our leading edge publishing applications simultaneously integrate industry e-document standards such as Association europeenne constructeur de materiel aeronautique (AECMA), the Air Transport Association (ATA) and Continuous Acquisition and Lifecycle Support (CALS), providing web-enabled, SGML/HTML/XML information and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).

Publishing – From hardcopy to digital publications, B&W to color, packaging to delivery, all of our printing services and resources are in-house and on-site.
